Petros Patsali, MSc, PhD, is a PhD graduate of King’s College London (KCL) and staff at the department of Molecular Genetics Thalassaemia at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING) as Associate Scientist. He received his PhD in Molecular Biology and Gene Therapy, and his research work is focused on the development of advanced personalized gene therapies of β-thalassaemia. He holds a BSc degree from the FORTH Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Crete, and an MSc degree in Molecular Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Imperial College London. In parallel to his research work on gene therapy of β-thalassemia, he is also a member of the Prenatal Genetic Diagnostic group of the department of Molecular Genetics Thalassemia at CING and a lecturer at the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine
