Dr. Marios Ioannides received his BSc and MSc in Microbiology from the University of South Florida, and his PhD in Medical Genetics from the University of Cyprus and the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. He served for many years as a molecular cytogeneticist at the Department of Cytogenetics and Genomics and as a post-doc and the acting head of the Translational Genetics Team at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and his research has been presented at various national and international scientific conferences. Dr. Ioannides is currently the Managing Director of Medicover Genetics. He has been a member of the Cyprus Society of Human Genetics since 2005.
